Welcome to Yunlong Liu's laboratory in the Division of Biostatistics, Department
of Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine. We are also affiliated to
the Center for Computational Biology and Bioinformatics and the Center for Medical
Genomics at Indiana University School of Medicine.
The Liu Lab focuses on the research in computational genomics and proteomics. We
developed MotifModeler and AntModeler, to predict active cis-acting elements in
regulating global gene expression patterns, in collaboration with Dr. Howard Edenberg's
laboratory and Dr. Hiroki Yokota's laboratory at Indiana University School of Medicine.
We also provide training and services in helping other laboratories for their needs in
the area of computational biology and bioinformatics. The laboratory is partially
affiliated to the Center for Medical Genomics, which provides microarray core facilities
for the Indiana University School of Medicine.
